Nobel Prize Winner in Physics Prof. Kosterlitz visit Chien Shiung Wu Memorial Hall in May 25, 2017 p.m., along with Prof Ling Xinsheng.

Prof. Michael Kosterlitz was elected to be a Nobel Prize Winner in 2016. He did research in condensed matter theory. He along with two other winners made a great contribution in topology in condensed matter. His research achievement was called to be “widely used in the area of material and electrical engineering in near future”.

Prof. Kosterlitz and Prof. Ling are amiable, humorous, and willing to exchange any opinion with anyone who comes up, sharing ideas and interesting stories about those ancestors in Physics.

At the end of the tour, as requested by Prof. Xiao, he wrote, “The most important thing in life or in Physics is to have fun and not to be too serious. Enjoy Life!” Perhaps, it could be another unique perceptive to see the work of Physics and work of Prof Chien Shiung Wu.
